Stand out from the crowd with this funky one of a kind hand embroidered statement adornments that would look fantastic with that little black dress/jacket or to dress up a plain white t-shirt, it'll never look out of place.

This is a one off design that is handmade, totally unique and inspired by my fascination with the beauty of coral reef. Each bead, sequin and thread is individually sewn by hand which builds up a sumptuous and intricate design.

The design process started with my experience of learning to scuba dive in the Caribbean Ocean and seeing the beauty of the world under the sea. Researching, drawing and designing throughout my final project of my Master of Arts in Contemporary Embroidery has led to creating "The Coral Collection".
Each piece is totally unique as I use a needle and thread like others use a paintbrush, drawing directly onto the fabric, letting the colours and materials guide me to build up beautiful surfaces reminiscent of the textures, colours and shapes of the coral reef.

The brooch took approximately 5 hours to sew and is stitched onto a base of silk organza and uses 100% merino wool felt that adds height to the corals. It comprises of Czech glass seed beads and swarovski pink neon beads and is backed with soft metallic kid leather and a traditional brooch back.

The earrings also took 5 hours to sew and are stitched onto a merino wool felt ball using Czech glass seed beads. The metal findings are Sterling Silver

The brooch and the earrings both come beautifully gift packaged in a luxury cardboard box with velvet insert.
